At 01:45 on Wednesday morning, Station 18 was alerted as the additional Ladder Company for a working multi-residential fire in Christiana's district. Ladder 18 responded with a crew of 5 and Engine 18-3 responded with 2.

Upon the arrival of Ladder 18, they took the first due truck assignment and conducted a primary search of the 3rd floor with the crew of the first due engine, 12-6. Ladder 18 and Engine 18-3's crew conducted various other fire ground tasks such as laddering the building and performing overhaul on the 3rd floor. Ladder 18 and Delaware City Ladder 15-7 were placed into service with master streams. Ladder was cleared by command at 09:34.
