On Monday, June 25, 2012, firefighters from Good Will, Wilmington Manor, and Minquadale participated in a Firefighter Confidence Course/ Self Rescue Training taught by Career Staff and Volunteer Member, Frank Schoeffler.  Firefighters were placed in teams of two to advance through the course that numerous obstacles that firefighters face in residential and commercial buildings.  The firefighters that went through the course were required to wear full turnout gear and SCBA.  9 teams successfully completed the course and many firefighters opted to go through a second time with zero-visibility.
