Single Vehicle MVC One Block from Fire House

While many were out watching the lunar eclipse, the station was alerted for a motor vehicle crash at South and 7th Streets. Ambulance and Rescue 18 responded. Upon arrival, crews found one vehicle into the retaining wall at the intersection. The rescue crew checked for hazards and then assisted the ambulance crew with patient care and packaging. The single occupant was transported to the local trauma center. Once the patient was removed from the vehicle, the crew secured the scene and turned the incident over to NCPD.
