Thanksgiving Day House Fire

On Thanksgiving Afternoon, Squad 18 was dispatched to the Chelsea Estates Development for a House Fire. Engine 28 arrived with Smoke Showing. Chief 18 (Majewski Jr.) arrived and established command. Squad 18 responded, under direction of Captain Thornton. Squad 18 arrived as the First Due Special Service. The crew forced entry into the home, and located the fire. Searches were completed with negative results. Crews operated for approx 2 hours before returning to service. 

 

While this emergency was handled, several members staffed Engine 18 and handled 3 additional Emergencies during the dinner hours of Thanksgiving Day.
