Cooking Fire in the First Due

Friday evening, units were alerted to the unit block of Fluvanna Ct in the Jefferson Farms community for a reported kitchen fire. Chief 18 arrived and reported a smoke condition within the residence. Engine 18 operated as the first due engine and found a stove top fire. With minor extension. The response was scaled back to Engine’s 18 and 20, Ladder 28, and Rescue Engine 22.
