MVC with Entrapment, Car vs. Train

At approximately 5:40pm, Good Will units along with New Castle County Paramedics were alerted to Wilmington Road at the Baldt Avenue Railroad Crossing for a Motor Vehicle Accident vs a Train with Entrapment. Wilmington Manor Fire Company Rescue Engine 28 and Holloway Terrace Fire Co. Ambulance 20 also responded to assist. Units arrived to find the incident as reported on the north side of the tracks. The crew from Squad 18 initiated extrication and was assisted by Rescue Engine 28. One patient was transported to the Trauma Center by Delaware State Police Trooper 4. Investigators are on scene and the roadway remains closed by Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT)
