Just before 7pm, Good Will and mutual aid units were alerted to the 100 block of North Katrin Circle in the Boothhurst community for a kitchen fire. Engine and Chief 18 made an immediate response. Upon arrival, crews found smoke from the front door of the residence. The crew from Engine 18 found a stovetop fire that extended to the cabinets. The fire was quickly extinguished and held to the area of origin.
